How to create a receipt in Nigeria

    Add your business details

    Enter your business name, address, phone number and (optionally) your logo. These appear at the top of every receipt you issue.

    Fill in who paid

    Add the customer’s name and contact details so the receipt clearly records who the payment was received from.

    List what was paid for

    Add each item or service with a quantity and unit price. The generator totals everything automatically as you type.

    Record the payment date and method

    Set the date payment was received and choose cash, transfer, POS or other — so there’s a clear record for both sides.

    Add discount or VAT if needed

    Enter a discount if one was given, and toggle 7.5% VAT on if it applies to the sale. Both are reflected in the final total.

Is this receipt generator really free?
Yes — completely free, with no limit on how many receipts you create. There’s no trial period and no upgrade required to keep using it.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. You can create and download a receipt without giving an email address or creating a password. Your business details are saved in your browser so you don’t have to retype them next time.
Does the receipt include VAT?
Yes. Turn on the VAT switch in the Totals section and the generator adds Nigeria’s standard 7.5% VAT to the total automatically. Leave it off if the sale wasn’t VATable.
Can I add my business logo?
Yes. Upload a PNG or JPEG under 2MB in the "Your business" section and it appears on the receipt and the downloaded PDF.
Is my data private?
Your business details and the receipts you create are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) on this device — they are never uploaded to or stored on Pulsac’s servers. Clearing your browser data or switching devices means they’re gone, so keep a copy of any receipt you need later.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes. The generator works on any phone, tablet or computer with a modern browser — no app download needed, so you can issue a receipt right at the point of sale.
